Canyon Country: The Canyon Country area has been established as having stability in its economic growth. It holds several gems of commerce and has a manufacturing and light-medium industrial arm that complements the residents. It can be seen as very 14 Friendly with that Artery being the close choice for commute to the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles Area. With established schools, religious groups, and arts and entertainment, it has a very personal flair sure to leave you happy and content. The types of homes in Canyon Country are categorized from Apartment Style condo's to Executive and Estates that are located in Sand Canyon. Horse properties and livestock make some areas of Canyon country very "Ranch and Cowboy" friendly.
Newhall: Newhall is the "original" community in the Santa Clarita Valley, one of the 8 communities that are considered to be "established" in the Santa Clarita Area. It has a rich history of community, couple with arts and entertainment such as the Cowboy Poetry Festival. With parks, green belts, fields, shopping, and the like, you will be able to call this community a home. Stevenson Ranch: I have coached soccer and have spent a lot of time with the Boy Scouts packs that are composed of the children from the Stevenson Ranch Community. I have to say the people that live here are indicative of the others that live and work in the Santa Clarita Valley, very nice, kind and considerate. It would be hard to find another Suburb of Los Angeles and the first exit off of the 5 freeway from the San Fernando Valley that has so much to offer. With a few of its own shopping centers, you have Wal-Mart, Claim Jumper, Staples, and many other restaurants, stores, shops and with its own division of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, you can feel safe. You can find homes here from condo's to Townhomes to huge ½+ acre lots with homes that are in excess of 3500 square feet with upgrades imported from various parts of the world. There are schools that are very high ranked on Great Schools.net and a family type infrastructure that will keep you very cozy.
Saugus: Located primarily between the 14 and 5 freeway Saugus is a great choice for those of you that want two ways to access the commute to the San Fernando Valley and the Los Angeles and beyond communities. Available here is new housing, resale and new condos, townhomes, Single Family Residences, Attached and detached condos. Shops, shopping, arts and entertainment are very close to all of the residents that live and play in Saugus. There are many religious centers and a very established and renowned public school system in place for those that live in the Saugus Area. You will never get tired of the parks and playgrounds and Paseo system that makes this a great area to live.
Valencia: Valencia California is a 5 freeway close community that has on its west boarder, Stevenson Ranch, and to its East Newhall. Castaic: Just past Valencia by continuing north bound on the 5 freeway, you don't have to drive but a few miles to reach this fantastic suburb of Los Angeles. The homes in this area are mostly single family residences. You can find some Condo's and Townhomes, Estate Homes on ½ to over 1 acre lots and in excess of 5000 square feet of beautiful and new living space. You can run from end to end and see why a huge amount of Law Enforcement and Fire Department personnel call this community home. Schools, shopping, and great freeway access keep this area in the top of the interest scale for home buyers.
Santa Clarita: The Entire Area that consists of Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Newhall, Canyon Country, Castaic, Saugus, Acton and Agua Dulce is considered the Santa Clarita Valley. Acton: Another bedroom community of Los Angeles, with access to this community provided by the 14 freeway, all you have to drive is another 15 miles north of Canyon Country and you are in Acton California. If you are someone that likes to raise livestock or has horses, even someone that just wants some breathing room, this is the place for you. You can still find construction that is newer and older homes, all on huge lots. Neighbors anyone, if that is your desire you can find some areas that have neighbors close by. But more true to form is having your neighbors beyond arms reach. Horses, livestock, and the sense of being home, caters to those that choose this community to live and raise families.
Agua Dulce: This community is between Acton and the Santa Clarita Valley. A country way of living exists in this fantastic bedroom community of Los Angeles. Do not forget to visit the Winery that produces some of the Region's best wine.
